Spooky season is upon us at the Bookmark Bookstore, where we're hosting our next Monthly Member Sale on Saturday, October 18. Members receive 50% off on Saturday from 11AM-6PM; everyone receives 30% off on Sunday, October 19 from 11AM-5PM. Don't miss our store-wide dollar item deal (3 for $2), as well as hundreds of other deeply discounted items.
We continue to accept material donations on Fridays and Saturdays on non-sale weekends only (paused every third weekend of the month for our recurring sales). On "donation weekends," drop-in with a maximum of 4 bags or boxes of materials from 12-4PM at our 10th St Donation Center entrance. Questions? See our donation policy for more info.
This October, we're excited about our bookshop.org collection of Banned Books, including Timeless & Classic reads, finds for YA audiences, and recommendations for kids. We're also continuing to amplify our Celebra Tu Herencia / Celebrate Your Heritage curation honoring Latinx/e voices. Don't miss our in-store curations for Banned Books Week (Oct 5-11) and Latinx/e Heritage Month (Sept 15 - Oct 15).
Choose the Bookmark Bookstore as your affiliate shop and a portion of your Bookshop.org purchase will support the Oakland Public Library, empowering all people to explore, connect, and grow.
Have you visited us for our Monthly Member Sale? Mark your calendars for our next recurring sale October 18-19 and every third weekend of the month thereafter. Members receive 50% off on Saturday, and everyone receives 30% off on Sunday.
