Members receive 20% off at the Bookmark all year, plus 50% off at our monthly Member sales (quantity limits apply). Shop local and support Oakland's libraries with every purchase!
This month, we're excited about our in-store Fall Colors and Winter Wonderland displays, where you can linger in autumn or dive into the winter holidays ahead. And don't miss another round of Bookmark After Dark, when the store stays open late until 8:30pm on Friday, November 27. Enjoy our extended shopping day as an alternative to getting up early on Black Friday, and kick off your holiday shopping with our treasure trove of hidden gems.
This November, we're also celebrating Indigenous Heritage Month with our in-store curation amplifying Indigenous voices. Plus, check out our Celebrate Indigenous Voices and Honoring Indigenous Languages reading lists on bookshop.org, where you can smash some patriarchy while shopping with purpose. On bookshop.org, your purchases support Oakland's public libraries when you choose the Bookmark as your indie bookstore.
November is National Novel Writing Month! Get more info here, and find all your writer's inspo at our in-store curation, featuring writing reference materials for all ages and stages.
