June is in full effect at the Bookmark Bookstore, where we're hosting our next Monthly Member Sale on Saturday, June 20. Members receive 50% off on Saturday from 11AM-6PM; everyone receives 30% off on Sunday, June 21 from 11AM-5PM.

Purchases are limited to 100 items/day* per customer or party (no scanners). Our sale continues with Bulk Buyer Day on Monday, June 22. On BBD only, every month on the Monday after our Member sale, scanners are permitted and customers enjoy 30% off when spending $500 or more (pre-discount, no item limits).

Speaking of sunshine, enjoy an extended shopping day with us during Old Oakland's Summer Stroll on Friday, June 26, when the Bookmark will stay OPEN LATE until 7:30PM alongside local merchants

and food vendors. Check out the neighborhood's family-friendly funtivities, and stop by the store to enjoy our "Buy 2, Get 1 Free" mix & match deal on dollar items store-wide, including CDs, DVDs, LPs, books, comics, magazines, and more!

This June, we're also excited about our Pride and Juneteenth curations at the store. Celebrate queer identities and Black freedom! Please note, the Bookmark will be closed on Friday, June 19 in honor of Juneteenth, and open again on Saturday, June 20 for our monthly Member Sale from 11AM - 6PM. While we're closed, peruse our eBay store for more eclectic finds not available in-person at the Bookmark, and don't miss our seasonal collections on bookshop.org, including Queer Romance, LGBTQ+ Graphic Novels, and Kids Celebrate Pride, Honoring Juneteenth, and Turn up the Hip Hop!

Don't miss OPL's Juneteenth Pre-Cookout at the Main Library on Sunday, June 7 from 1:30-4:30 PM. The celebration will feature games, crafts, line dancing, and more!
