It's Mental Health Awareness Month

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and it's a great time to pause, check in with yourself, and know how to take care or ask for help. Here are a few resources to help you get started, courtesy of the Oakland Public Library.

Building up your personal resource library or looking for a gift for a teen in your life? Check out OPL's related book recommendations for teens, and support Oakland Public Library when you choose the Bookmark as your affiliate bookstore.

Material donations will pause May 11-22 to allow our volunteers time and space to focus on prep and clean-up for our 50% Off Spring Sale (May 17-18). We will continue to accept like-new and gently used items on Friday, May 23 (and Fridays and Saturdays thereafter) from 12-4pm. Visit us at our new Donation Center at the end of the Bookmark Bookstore building on 10th street, where you can snag a temporary parking place while unloading your items. Check out our updated donation policy for more information, including how to find our Donation Center entrance, what to donate, and more.

Questions? Reach out to bookmark@fopl.org or give us a call at (510) 444-0473.
