Bike to Wherever Day is Thursday, May 15, 2025! It's a celebration of bicycles as a fun and healthy way to get around -- and an opportunity for those who don’t usually bike to try it out.
Join a “pedal pool” from your Oakland neighborhood and ride with others to Frank Ogawa Plaza, where coffee and breakfast items await you at City Hall.
At the end of the day, celebrate at Happy Hour from 4-7pm in Old Town Oakland on Washington Street between 8th and 10th. Stop by the bike-friendly Bookmark Bookstore to claim your 30% off discount on all $1 dollar items.
We've even got two brand new bike racks outside our shop along the Broadway and 10th Street sides of our historic Old Oakland building. Hope to see you there! 🚴♀️
In preparation for our upcoming 50% off Sale, material donations are paused at the Bookmark Bookstore until Friday, May 23. Please note the store's updated donation guidelines are available online and our normal drop-in hours are Fridays and Saturdays from 12-4PM (resuming the 23rd).
