Grants to the Oakland Public Library

At the July 14, 2003 meeting, the FOPL board of directors approved grants to the Oakland Public Library in the amount of $61,165 for Fiscal Year 2003-2004. This year's grant includes expanded support for eight librarian scholarships and funds for "catch-up" purchases of books due to the City's budget crisis.
