Members of the Friends of the Oakland Public Library provide financial support for library projects and programs that enhance library services to the residents of Oakland, Piedmont and Emeryville. In addition to the good feeling that comes with supporting the library, members receive a 20% discount at the Bookmark Bookstore and the Friends newsletter, Off the Shelf.
Members who join at the BookFriend ($50) level or above also receive discounts at the participating local bookstores. Please show your BookFriend membership card to qualify for the discount.
